Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JFTF Ministry handles information provided through our ministry website, donation forms, consultation booking pages, and related communications.
1. Information You Provide
We collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, donation amount, transaction reference, consultation details, and messages. If you request assistance or coordinate a donation or sponsorship, we may also receive the details needed to respond to that request. Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to process and document donations; provide receipts and payment-related notices; respond to questions; arrange consultations and requested ministry services; coordinate donations or sponsorships; record communication preferences; maintain accurate records; and protect our forms and services against misuse. Donation-form information is used for JFTF Ministry purposes and does not enroll you in tax-office marketing.
3. Payments
Online donations are processed through our payment provider, Square. Payment-card details are entered through the provider's payment interface. We receive transaction information needed to administer the donation, including the amount, payment status, and reference information. Square handles payment information according to its own privacy practices and applicable requirements. Do not email full card numbers, security codes, or banking credentials to JFTF Ministry.
4. Optional Text Messages
Providing a phone number does not, by itself, enroll you in text messages. If you select the optional SMS consent checkbox, JFTF Ministry may text you about donation confirmations, receipt notifications, and coordination of donations or sponsorships. Frequency depends on your interactions with us. Your carrier may charge for messages and data. You may decline SMS consent and still submit a donation.
Reply STOP to a ministry text to stop messages. A final confirmation of your opt-out may be sent. Reply HELP for support, or email [email protected]. These donor-message permissions do not authorize unrelated promotional texts or future fundraising appeals.
5. Information Sharing and SMS Consent
We do not provide mobile numbers, mobile information, or SMS opt-in and consent records to other organizations or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Service providers supporting our operations—such as payment processing, website hosting, contact management, and message delivery—may handle information only as needed to perform those services. SMS consent records are not shared for any independent third-party use.
We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect safety, or establish or defend legal rights. We limit access to donor and inquiry information to people and providers who need it for ministry operations.
6. Website Technology and External Links
Our website and embedded services may use cookies, browser storage, technical logs, and similar tools to operate forms, process payments, retain preferences, and prevent abuse. Browser settings may let you restrict these tools, although some features may not work correctly. Other websites and providers have their own policies; this policy does not govern their independent practices.
7. Retention and Safeguards
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including donation administration, accounting, communication records, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Requests
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete information you provided, or ask questions about its use, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and necessary recordkeeping; some transaction or consent records may need to be retained. SMS opt-out instructions remain available regardless of a deletion request.
9. Children and Information About Others
Our donation and consultation forms are intended for adults. Do not submit a child's personal information through these forms unless it is specifically requested for an applicable ministry program and you are authorized to provide it. Contact us if you believe information was submitted without appropriate permission.
10. Changes and Contact
We may revise this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Questions about this policy or your information may be sent to JFTF Ministry at [email protected].
